Fynsk fødselsdag

Posted in Food, Out by Ann-Louise on 05/08/2011

Last week we went to my younger brothers birthday. I can’t believe he is already 18. In Denmark it means that he can get a driver’s licence, wote for elections and buy alcohol in bars. – and I still remember the day he was born! My mom made the cakes in the pictures and they were lovely!

jeg har trukket nitten

Posted in Out by Ann-Louise on 31/07/2011

Blærebetændelse, forkølelsessår, diaré, forkølelse, slimhoste, diaré igen – kort sagt; you name it – I probably got it!

Stort.

I have been quite unlucky this summer. The most of my vacation I have been sick. But anyway I had a great week in Sweden (which is the only place we could afford to travel to because of all the things we have bought for the new apartment – but that’s ok – I hope I’ll be travelling a lot more when I’m done with my education and hopefully can get a job!)

I still have a month of vacation left and I hope it will be without any more sickness since I already had almost everything…

details and borrowed jewellery

Posted in Out, projects by Ann-Louise on 16/06/2011

I love, love, love the tights from Sneaky Fox! The bracelet is borrowed and from Day Birger et Mikkelsen, I’m thinking about making a bracelet inspired from this. With a lot of pearls! The ring is also borrowed and homemade – it is so cool, but a bit heavy..

the food // Rudolf Mathis

The food was delicious! And beautiful, actually so beautiful that I totally forgot to take a picture before I started eating (as you can see on the second picture…).

It’s lobster, fish, more fish and then 3 small pieces of desert – all with rhubarb.

cravings and weddings

Posted in Out, Wishlist by Ann-Louise on 03/06/2011

Right now I’m really craving for a ring like this! It would be perfect for next weekend where I’m going to my grandmothers birthday. Unfortunately I don’t think it could arrive in time.. Does any of you know where I could find something similar in Copenhagen? – and I’m not interested in the plastic one from H&M – it is simply too fake!

Tomorrow I’m going to a wedding which will be a very special one. It is a pagan ceremony and the theme for the party is medieval/fantasy. My dress isn’t really perfect for the theme, but I  hope it will do.

Lykke Li // Vega

Posted in Out, Together by Ann-Louise on 02/05/2011

Friday Ann and I went to ‘store vega’ to see Lykke Li live. It was the first time for me and I didn’t know the music very well, so I didn’t have any idea about what to expect.I was a bit surprised about how visual her show was, but I liked it – it kind of created a whole universe where both the sound and the visual played very well together. Lykke Li was kind of odd at some times, she looked really disappointed when people didn’t sing as much as she expected – and I couldn’t figure out whether she really was disappointed or it was a part of the show. And the sound was quite loud, but I guess you have that problem with almost every concert.. All in all I think it was a very interesting concert and I’m happy I went.

a question of: peace

Posted in New stuff, Out by Ann-Louise on 25/04/2011

Some weeks before we went to Crete I bought this t-shirt from A Question Of. It’s called a question of peace and I’m quite exited about the print. I got it just before our holiday and thought it was the perfect time to inaugurate the new t-shirt. In the pictures I’m wearing it at Knossos.

KPHTH

Posted in Out, Uncategorized by Ann-Louise on 24/04/2011

I came home from Crete yesterday. We had a fantastic vacation even though the weather was quite bad some of the days.

But now that I’m home its gonna be some busy weeks, actually a busy month that is… Starting today; my brother’s birthday party and then dinner with my boyfriend’s family.

I hope you’re having a great easter!
